First 44

Balanced between cruising comfort, performance and safety, this sailboat is the living example of what a cruiser/regatta represents. Comfort for life on board along with quality equipment to enjoy sailing and competition.

This new model of the historic Beneteau range comes to complete the variety of First's lengths, from 14 feet to 53, applying everything learned about performance with its "little sibling" and about the comfort of its "big sibling".

Exterior Design

The First 44 offers two deck options thus adapting to a greater variety of sailing programs.

In its standard version, it highlights a spacious cockpit with a large table, added to a configuration that allows good performance in navigation, accessible even with a reduced crew.

In its Performance version, as its name suggests, both the configuration, the equipment and systems are focused on regatta and a complete crew. With details such as the carbon mast, weight is reduced and the sail area is increased, thus achieving performance worthy of any competition boat.

Interior Design

Its interior layout consists of two aft cabins, an owner's cabin in the bow, two bathrooms, an L-shaped kitchen, a spacious living room with a table on the port side for 6 people and a sofa on the starboard side accompanied by the chart table in its extreme.

Contemporary style, open and well lit with natural light, the interior of this 44-footer is presented with a combination of white lacquer, moulded wood and quality, resistant upholstery.

·         The meticulous study to achieve a balance between habitability and competition: Beneteau has relied on experts of the level of the Mer Forte studio for engineering, which has already participated in the creation of the Figaro Beneteau 3, to obtain a perfect balance between habitability, comfort and good aptitude for regatta. Working exhaustively on key details such as the weight distribution of the boat to offer the best performance without sacrificing a pleasant life on board.
