Light, innovative and sturdy, built to last and challenge transoceanic racing. Beneteau pours his passion for sport sailing into the first one-design made with standard foils.
The hull lines of the Figaro Beneteau 3 are inspired by the renowned IMOCA, seeking a better passage through the wave, free of ballast, with a thin and deep keel and a set back mast. The incorporation of retractable series foils stands out, being able to control their length from the deck.
· Series foils: thanks to their inward-directed profile, the foils offer two functions: to support the anti-drift effect and to help right the boat without increasing displacement, which improves performance.
· Vendee Globe Experience: the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) architecture studio, creators of three of the latest Vendée Globe winning boats, have worked together with Beneteau to create this ISO/World Sailing category A one-design.
· Late mast: inspired by the IMOCA 60, the further aft mast position provides more undersail balance and the option to use performance sails and add a bowsprit.
