A house on the sea for lovers of slow cruising who find pleasure in enjoying sailing with all the comfort necessary for life on board. A long-distance cruiser that takes environmental responsibility into account and offers a place in which to enjoy the simplest luxury: the value of time, of sharing it with family and friends in comfortable, pleasant and quality spaces.
For this large motor yacht of almost 19 metres in length, Beneteau has developed a hull designed to achieve great autonomy with maximum efficiency. The Grand Trawler 62 has excellent features and represents a change of perspective in the way of living and enjoying the sea, offering a deep-sea cruiser for long navigations and quiet anchorages.
It stands out for incorporating one of the largest flybridge in its length, which also benefits the spacious aft cockpit saloon as it is protected below deck. Safe and easy to move around, the stainless steel handrails and the wide and deep passageways make it easy to move around on board this boat and to reach the large raised sundeck on the foredeck.
This home at sea focuses all its design on life on board over long distances, offering surprising volumes and optimised spaces, without sacrificing elegance. Designed for up to 8 people to enjoy maximum comfort and well-being when staying overnight, it has several configurations and options for its interiors, including the choice of incorporating 3 or 4 double cabins.
On the main deck, the large electric windows ensure plenty of natural light. Communication with the forward cockpit is fluid thanks to the comfortable saloon located at the entrance to the deck, the fully equipped and enclosed galley with large windows that allow communication and help to give spaciousness is connected with the dining room in front and with the steering position located in the central part of the bow. The helm station offers two individual seats and a large console with all the equipment appropriate to the sailing programme of this boat, as well as an accompanying sofa. The sleeping deck consists of a cabin for the crew aft and three double cabins with individual bathrooms, including the spacious owner's cabin. The hull side windows in all cabins ensure natural light in these rooms.
- Range and efficiency: capable of offering a range of 900 miles at 9 knots, this boat is equipped with two 750 hp MAN engines with shafts each, allowing a top speed of up to 20 knots. Reaching a good cruising pace, it provides an efficiency in navigation that is reflected in fuel savings.
- The flybridge: with one of the largest flybridges of its length, accessible from the aft cockpit or from the interior, the dining area features a large U-shaped sofa for up to 8 guests to sit around the table. An L-shaped lounge next to the helm station and a complete bar unit complete the configuration designed for the enjoyment of this terrace overlooking the sea, protected by a hardtop with an electric opening roof.
